lovely coloring, i remember it being almost floral & (brown) spicy on the nose, to compliment the bouqet of dark fruits... plush & full on the palate, cranberry, boysenberry, ever so slight brown sugar, tobacco, vanilla & other teasing nuances... dry, but not overly tannic on the finish, this was popped and consumed right outta the bottle... lovely, can do much worse 93

I had this last night in Las Vegas ($150 off wine list). I had the wine decanted and they used the "magic" funnel (ala Pyang).

I found the wine to be very light on the nose and very "thin" without much of a finish. I would rate the wine 88-89CK Roll Eyes

funny, when i had this bottle i was in Vegas as well... Cool

but as for your note Confused, i defintely didn't think it was light... worth the price, well that's another argument all together, but i definitely enjoyed it. HA! there i said it! i'm right, you're wrong! Razz

however, i will add that i do tend to rate wines higher in Vegas... i wonder why? Roll Eyes Big Grin

For the $$$ and quality this reminds me of Opus.....Over-rated and Over-priced! If it were in the $20 range a buy....nothing more!
