Sounds awesome! Just to clarify, was the color more "Sissorhands" or "Pirates of the Caribbean"?

  Youthful Bordeauxs at Ruth’s Chris, Tysons including two 100 pointers (Ruth’s Chris, Tysons corner, VA): There is something kinky about this wine. Blackberry jelly, caramel, lots of cedar, allspice, a hint of spicy and jalapeno coming from cabernet sauvignon. It is very similar to the 90 Montrose but showing more caramel and rounder/warmer fruit expression. Both clearly showing excellent provenance. The palate is silky and the tannins are not noticeable. I prefer this wine to the Montrose for the current drinking, a hedonistic wine. (97 pts.)

  Impromptu Sunday Bordeaux gathering at Ruth Chris Tysons Corner, VA (Ruth Chris Tysons Corner, VA): Wow, what a spectacular wine, incredibly expressive from the start, ripe fruit, kinky sexy wine, some extremely sweet balsamic note, still generous fruits, fresh tobacco, complex nose. Excellent concentration, silky palate and bright acidity. The wine that I wasn’t familiar with but need to seek some. A great wine! (98 pts.)
