Any of you have any experience with this red?

I drank it a couple of nights ago in Hong Kong with the Finance Minister, Henry Tang, who is one of the most knowledgeable Burgundy drinkers in the world. I thought the wine had volatile acidity with the nose showing a vinegary undertone. Still it was full-bodied and very silky with lots of plum, strawberry and Indian spice character. It was in a magnum. I still gave it 90 points (may be 89 is better) but I was expecting much more out of it considering its mega reputation and price. Henry said the wine has always had VA.
