From a half bottle. Popped and poured, served with rack of lamb. Primary aromas, mostly dark fruits, with a hint of cedar and also slightly hot. On the palate there is tremendous fruit concentration and mouth-watering acidity, yet still elegant. The tannins are fine, and well integrated but there is some astringency at the end. Very nice, fruity finish, longer than I expected (15 second range). Delicious with the lamb.
This is certainly better than the 85 points Suckling gave it. I think Parker rated it higher. I'd say 88-89 and maybe higher in a year or two once the bouquet starts offering something other than primary fruit.
(It had a cute little short cork, so that the word "bouteille" had to be abbreviated. Officially, my wife has declared a moratorium on further wine acquisitions until we diminish our existing stock, but when I come home with the 375's she thinks they're the cutest things.)
