Nice deal on this wine right now at the winery ($26) -- I bought 6 when I was in Napa and popped one when I got back.

Sipped sparingly over the first two hours or so -- very tight. Started to unwind with raspberry and blackberry notes accompanied by the dusty, earthy quality that can come from Rutherford. Only got better over the next few hours -- I kept it open for the next four days with only a cork (no refrigeration, vacumn etc) -- wine was still going strong after four days. Not touching another one for a couple of years. '

87 pts now. Could get better.

I opened a '99 vintage a few weeks ago, an absolutely beautiful wine. Reasonable price for a Rutherford Cab @ $39 per from the winery.

It's at least comparable to the '99 Whitehall Cab, if not better.
