My father surprised me last week with two bottles Ch.Cotes de Mouchet Puisseguin-St.-Emilion 1985. Apart from the fact that the bottles were 70cl and "mise en bouteille par l'acheteur", the fluid level wasn't that high anymore. We tried them, and enjoyed. Corks completely soaked, but no corked wine. Bright red colour with amber edges. Compact, but fresh in the nose. Fruity. Medium bodied, slightly dry. Raspberry, vanilla, cherry, licorice. Still alive tannins. Medium finish. For me honest 86-87, also because my expectations weren't high and I never heard of this chateau before. Must have been well stored.
And as a finishing touch, God created the Dutch!
