  • 1983 Ropiteau-Mignon Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Chênes - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Volnay 1er Cru (10/28/2009)
    Not quite bad enough to pour down the sink, but almost. Clear medium brick-ruby red. Bouquet of barnyard and dirty sweatsocks. Tart and somewhat acetic on the palate, with vague remnants of berries. (77 pts.)
