I tasted this wine at ProWein and didn't make any notes, but that doesn't matter, I can still taste it.

This is perfection in a bottle, mega rich, perfumed sweet, but beautifully balanced by a lively acidity. This is like a layered bon-bon that reveals a new set of tastes continuously in the mouth. Gorgeous, 100 points for me. Cool

We tasted a LOT of GREAT wines at ProWein, but this one was in a different league...to call this wine amazing is not doing it justice.

The first Gewurztraminer SGN Hors Choix since the 1967, and about 2000 bottles made. Concentrated, rich, complex, yet fresh, crisp and light - this wine has it all. One does not simply taste this wine: it is experienced with more senses than just smell and taste - it gave me goosebumps and send shivers down my spine...making this a 100 point wine for me as well - for my taste, this exclipsed the d'Yquem '90, Climens '01 and Tirecul '95 Cuvée Madame (my previous best sweet white wines tasted). Perhaps the best wine all round I have ever tasted, but definately in my top 3!

Not that much, actually - between 110 and 150 Euros for a 750, IIRC.
