BTW-
I think I opened a '96 Insignia in early 2004 and of course, it was stellar, but have not opened another, still laying quietly. Thats what happens when you can't find anything in your cellar!

1996 Joseph Phelps Insignia - USA, California, Napa Valley
Atlanta Vielles Vignes – Bone’s and Cabs (Bone's Restaurant, Atlanta, GA): Good nose. Bright, expressive cassis and red fruits with vanilla throughout and a lightly spiced frame. Silky fine, yet prominent tannins and good depth leading to a generous finish. S92 3/28/2006
