This bottle tasted like V-8 on the first day, not anything like the last bottle previous to this. Showed better the second day, but towards the old-burgundian flavor profiles of earth and wilted-flowers-in-vase-water..... Probably a bad bottle, so good luck on yours!

GMT,

I am very concerned about the Kalin wines I have had lately. I don't think there are problems with the wines, I think there are pronblems with the CORKS holding. Lots of very thin corks with clear seepage almost to the top with some clearly seeping through the capsule.

cdr: I have had problems like that, though not severe enough to worry about it. Kalin does "blow hot and cold", so it could just be an "off" bottle. Do have adequate moisture where you store your wines? I have noticed this with wines that I kept in dry areas.....
