2001 Spring Mountain Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon - USA, California, Napa Valley, Spring Mountain District (10/11/2008)
Very lush and fruit driven for an 01 and a mountain wine. Big, upfront currant and plum with some oak and heat on the long finish. Not as elegant as expected, but a nice rich Napa cab with mostly resolved tannins at this stage. (91 pts.)
