One of my favorite wines is a 1998 Wolf Blass Black Label... so I thought I'd try another 1998 australian cabernet.

This showed well... seems at a good evolutionary point, with smoothed out tannins, only a touch of aged character in the flavors (still very sturdy). Well balanced, but the fruit flavors, while very good, weren't super-impressive. 89pts.
