2003 Bertani Recioto della Valpolicella Valpantena - Italy, Veneto, Valpolicella, Recioto della Valpolicella (6/12/2006)

I tried this wine last week at a trade tasting. Dark purple color with a little heat on the nose. I found this wine to be a little too sweet. Notes of ripe blackberry, prune and black currant. Lacked concentration to be considered in the outstanding level. 86-88 points.
