2005 Château La Gravière Blanc - France, Bordeaux, Entre-Deux-Mers (7/5/2008)

Opened on the 4th of July. I purchased this for $3 and was very happy with it. This is a Sauvignon Blanc based wine. Served chilled. Lively with plenty of fresh fruit. Well rounded with a little minerality. Lacking in depth to score higher though. Fine example of a lesser estate doing well in the excellent 2005 vintage. Not a long term ager. Might have to buy a couple more. 87 points.
