Ten bonus points for anyone who's even heard of this wine (unless you're in Ontario), much less tasted it. In fact, it should be 2001 Robertson Wide River Almond Grove Noble Late Harvest Reserve (South Africa), but that would have clogged up the title page too much.
This cost me CAD$10 for a half bottle. I bought it because my sister drinks only sweet wine and this one was cheap enough to fit her budget. and for the price, it was good. I'm not much for this kind of thing, but it was a bit more tart than I expected, while still being sweet, of course (but not overly). Definitely some citrus going on, maybe a little raspberry. Worth it if you like stuff like this.
