  • 2002 Marqués de Riscal Rioja Reserva - Spain, La Rioja, La Rioja Alavesa, Rioja (5/19/2008)
    Dark garnet color. Deep oak, smokey and dry cocoa nose. Dash of prune and nutmeg. Nice velvety taste with black cherry and prune flavor. Smooth rich tanins. Slightly hot. Nice long aftertaste of leather and chocolate. (90 pts.)

    Corked. Have tried in the past and it has proved to be a good wine. Could not drink. NR (flawed)
