I do not need to be validated, my car is parked at home. Eek

Mishy, I did not feel that this needed time to open. This particular bottle was consumed at a restaurant over about an hour to an hour and a half. I have no recollection of thinking it was better at the end than at the beginning. It sounds like you had a bad one, or perhaps it had to do with food pairing etc....

*******
Not looking good for next year either.

Thanks for your reply Grossie,
I didn't eat with this wine but I did have it open to taste for the next day, I just found it much improved over 24 hours. The nose blossomed, the palate seemed much more inviting, not just acid.
Wine is a but frustrating at times.....
