85% Grenache, 15% Cab. 4 months in French Oak.

Cellared for a little less than a year. Wine was unfiltered and loaded with sediment. Sat in bottle upright for 48 hours and then decanted for another 2 hours after opening.

Intense Purple color fading to a garnet edge. The nose was slightly closed, but hinted of plums, ripe fruits, metallic earth, and a bit of oak. Very dry on the palate accompanied by crisp acidity on a medium body. Packed with juicy fruits, raspberries, peppery herbs with sweet tannins that mellowed out over the evening. Finishes short.
