  • 2001 Cliff Lede Cabernet Sauvignon - USA, California, Napa Valley, Stags Leap District (10/20/2007)
An elegant wine and very well balanced, with lovely dark fruit flavors and a hint of sweetness. Finishes with a touch of cassis and light oak on the long, smooth finish. Excellent wine that stresses finesse and balance rather than big fruit and oak. (93 pts.)

Perfect cork, 14.5% alcohol, not decanted, poured and enjoyed right away. Dark ruby, a bit of spice in the nose, nice balance, drinking very well right now. 91 points
