1998 Fernando Remírez de Ganuza Rioja Reserva - Spain, La Rioja, La Rioja Alavesa, Rioja (3/30/2006)

This was the Reserva bottling that was opened at Anwar's offline last Saturday. Not sure who brought this. A very nice round and fruity wine. Well integrated tannins at the present time and clearly in its prime drinking window in my opinion. Notes of black cherry and currant. It had a delicious lushness to it. Medium bodied. 90-91 points.
