Color was so light it was almost like the color of clear sand. Nose showed mainly citrus flavors with some herbacousness and floral character, but it was a bit too reserved for me (note that it did become more expansive the second night after being vacuvinned in the fridge). On the palate I got mainly citrus and a stoney, mineral character and some wet hay. Interestingly, the acidity was extremely well integrated, giving the wine a juicy, rounded mouthfeel that surprised me. There was none of that spritzy acidity dancing on the tongue that you might expect. In short, liked it, but didn't love it. While the flavors were certainly enjoyable, they were too soft and seemed to lack concentration. I'd score it about an 88/89 and rate it a B for QPR in NZ SB because it cost me about $20. So, while it's an interesting wine, it's just not my cup of sauvignon blanc...
