2004 Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva Tenute Marchese - Italy, Tuscany, Chianti, Chianti Classico (10/30/2009)
WIMLNR

Tasted October 30, 2009.

Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of licorice, saddle soap, black berries and dried herbs. Flavors of black berries and a bit of black cherry. Light to medium acidity, light to medium body, fully resolved tannins. VERY short finish. This bottle is "off" in comparison to previous bottles opened and I would lean more towards it starting to fade. If you have any I'd pop one soon and take it for a test drive for yourself.
