Tasted in a blind lineup of 6 Southern Rhones, this was a pleasantly surprising standout, albeit definitely geared toward fans of full-throttle, international-styled Rhones. Dense, saturated color; boysenberry, kirsch & charcoal on nose; very supple, plush tannins, full-bodied on palate, intense & long on finish. I'm really happy I have 2 more bottles of this, and it was a bargain at $20. 93 pts.

What grapes are in this cuvee? I am guessing GSM. Thanks for the TN Life without wine?...... Yeah Right. There's no Mourvedre in this, which surprised me quite a bit. Tasting it double-blind, I felt certain there was some Mourv there. Instead, it's 80 Grenache and 20 Syrah.
