Has anyone tried this or the back vintages? This was offered by a local retailer at $65/bottle. Based on the Cabernet and Merlot I have , I am seriously considering purchasing this. Thnaks in advance.

Here is a TN from Pride: They made 936 cases and it costs $60 at the winery.

The 2007 Syrah opens with enticing brambly and spicy aromas, subtle floral notes and a hint of meatiness. In the mouth, a blue fruit character emerges ranging from blueberry syrup to candied cherries, while subtle hints of salt water taffy and caramel add dimension. The texture is silky and soft, with tannins that are present but fully integrated. With its brambly and spicy notes, it would pair beautifully with wild game, aged cheeses, or the wild mushrooms of springtime.

The gf and I did the barrel tasting last winter at Pride.. Really enjoyed the 06, picked up a bottle at the winery for $55.00. Nice reviews at Cellartracker for the 06 vs. the 07.

Had this at the winery a few weeks ago- while a nice wine there are many better syrahs at that price point. Was really impressed by Larkmead's 07 Syrah (1s year they have produced it) and at $45 I picked up several...
