When I laid this down a few years ago I did not have high expectations. However, I was very pleasantly surprised at the results. Both the aeromatics and the richness/depth of flavors had developed significantly - in a good way. No formal notes, but I would compare it to a Mondavi Oakville or a Ramey Cab. We opened the 05 along with an 08 and an 09 just to see how they compared and they were both doing well too. Tried the 2010 recently but did not care for the new blend with 15% syrah. I plan on continuing to add a few bottles of Tresor to the cellar every year.

The '97 was drinking beautifully a couple years ago.

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

I had the 03 a few months back, pleasantly surprised. Glad I paid the $16 for it.
