Hang on, this is getting out of hand. This thread has been hi-jacked at least three times and now the originator has come back to hi-jack it for a completely different purpose. DRAB - you know the rules: Once your thread has been hi-jacked you can't have it back. I think it's best that you leave this thread now whilst you can still pass off this dabacle as a temporary case of insanity.

I stumbled upon this post awhile ago and have been intrigued ever since. However, let's not get off track, you were speaking about Board-O's lack of humility... ...go ahead

killerb, You are totally in error. I personally have hijacked this thread three times. The actual number of hijacks is in the dozens.

DRAB, I inderstand your position when it comes to Parker and his fondness for a certain style of wine. Never really spent much time in wine David Koresh's camp myself, but I suspect there are more than enough people who follow him blindly.
Personally, I rarely seek advice on wine, as I am quite capable of making choices on my own. I don't offer advice on wine, as I see it as pointless and destructive exercise. Let those who want to know and understand wine seek the treasures on their own. Through bad vintages and tricky producers, through greedy merchants and shady auctions, search, taste and explore on your own ...or forever remain a dilettante.

tlily, Just remember you have to die before you get your hands on the 72 virgins. Besides I don't think they'd all fit in the hot tub.

I'm now ignoring this thread. I've ignored the ignore this thread thread and not posted to it, since I'm ignoring it.

It is written Pétrus, but when you say it, then it is hard on the e, but a long us. It is like having the accent on the u.

It's a lush and decadent wine drinking quite well right out of the starting gates. I only wish I could say that for the Karl Lawrence Reserves! Now that's the other side of the coin....total infanticide when I opened them, but that little sneak peak was worth it all. Those should be awesome in 10+ years!
DRAB, if you decant for 5 hours, then pour back into the bottle, then let it breathe in the bottle for 12 hours, the '01 Morisoli is pretty insanely good right now I would say '99 HSS / '99 Araujo good. Of course, that is with an insane amount of decanting. I've been dreaming about what this will be in 6+ years... And, wait, are you saying you tried the '01 KL Herb Lamb without me? For shame! a
