'08 Henschke Keyneton Euphonium
Dark opaque purple color. Rich, black fruit on nose. A dense palate of teryaki beef jerky and some soft fruitcake sweetness. Plums, black cherries and tar. Finishes with a firm cedar tannins but with a smooth transition. Made a great pairing with some proscuitto, each highlighting the other. Still a fairly young wine. Drink or hold. Screwcap closure.
