Neat package, what with its screw top and dancing Jesters. Parker liked it enough to rate a 91 and would agree with the WA. Not as big and bold and extracted as some of the other Aussie wines we're seeing these days. Represents a pleasant change of pace, with nice, subtle nose of dark fruits, warm, coating mouthfeel and fruitty (blackberry and blueberry) and slightly spicy finish. Did not decant and the wine improved markedly over the 90 minutes its was consumed. A definite buy -- $17.99 at WineEx.
Cheers! And remember: Life's too short to drink bad wine.

I also tasted this wine this past weekend at the store where TasteWine2 works. I found an interesting dominant red currant taste backed by some fairly strong acids. I could have had a freshly opened bottle, I don't remember. Nevertheless, I found it to be very pleasing and give it a 91/92. I bought two bottles at $16.99.
I agree with you both, wholeheartedly. This is an excellent wine that exhibits some elegance--in contrast to some of the huge, extracted bombs we have seen lately from Australia (I like those too). Great to have some variety.
A terrific buy.
