My local retailer mention this wine, Blue Rock Cab 99. Says it is fabulous. Anyone have any info on it. Thanks

This wine is a Blue Rock Estate, it is the first vintage.

I had this wine about 6 months ago at a fund raising event. It was at the wine owner's house in Marin. First vintage for him. He had been selling his grapes to either silver oak or opus. At that time he was not sure how much he was going to price the wine at. I'm guessing it should be in the $40 range.

As I recall, it was a very nice 99 Cal Cab. Given it's youth, it was balanced, nice nose, good fruit and enough tannins to stand time.

I would definately give it a go.....

Thanks JO. Its 45 a bottle. I was told there ws only 900 6packs produced. I can get 10% off a case should I make the investment
