Another 'older' CA chardonnay I thought worthy of a try @ $24.

More pale than the '96 Raymond Generations in an earlier post, w/some crystallization going on. Ginger, pineapple, and oak - nose and palate - low malolactic chardonnay that also had a minerally context to it. Finish had more oak than the Raymond, leading me to believe it's best days are long gone. Still, nice to try an 8 y.o. CA chardonnay at a fair price. 82-83 pts.
