Dark brooding color in the glass. Very fruit forward considering how this vintage is showing right now. Alot of blackberries and dark fruits in the mouth. A muscular wine yet with balanced tannins. Rich in the mid palate with a long finish. 93 pts.

MPLS,

We had one of these Saturday night. My impressions mirror yours exactly with a minor exception. After some air, I picked up some graphite/cedar similar to Left Bankers. I described this a friend who partook with us, and she got it too (actually, she thought it was pretty neat after I described it to her! Maybe we'll convert another one!).

Anyway, did our first 00 G.M.several years ago, it was forward and a bit hedonistic at that time, licorice notes predominant.

Will keep the third and final a few more years. Hope to catch it at a nice plateau.

I'm sure it will flesh out even more with time and hit it's stride. Razz
