2003 Maison Henry Bouachon Vacqueyras Pierrelongue - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Vacqueyras (10/31/2009)
WIML87

Tasted October 31, 2009 at a retail tasting.

Garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of fertilizer, anise, pencil shavings and plums. Flavors of berries, plums, a bit of currants and minerals. Light to medium acidity, medium tannins and body. Drink over the short term, perhaps the medium term if you'd like to push it. (87 pts.)
