I don't have any notes handy, but I gave it an 89 with upside potential when I had it last month. This wine usually benefits fro some bottle age and in fact holds up quite well for 10 years or so based on my experience. It is as near to a year-in year-out best buy as you can get in a decent cab. I have quite a vertical going and have had 91, 94, 96, and 98 all in the last six months. Each is a solid 90-91 point wine, which is true to form. A few years, 1992 for example, have been even better, and only 1993 was a tad disappointing in the last vertical we tasted through. We get boatloads of this and it’s sister shiraz bottling here in NH and we can buy it as low as $15 and change during some of the sales. The SR Shiraz BTW is also a deal, the 98 was simply outstanding for the $$$.

I was wondering if I should have picked up a couple of bottles. I have been debating about it for a month.
Off to the liquor store I go.....
Now....where's that Screwpull?
