2004 Five Star Cellars Merlot - USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley (11/3/2009) Tasted last time on 8-25-08. This has really blossomed since then. Rich ruby garnet color. Smoke and char on the nose that reminds me of Bordeaux. Blackberry pie filling, medium acidity, medium structure. Allspice and a soupçon if cinnamon. Toasty complexity with some minearality.
