2000 Walla Walla Vintners Washington State Cuveé - USA, Washington (10/4/2005)
This was poured at the Haggis house last weekend. I think Scubarex brought it. This was a wine I really enjoyed. I believe it is a blend of Cab Sav, Merlot and Cab Franc and sells for about $20. This has a bountiful sweet nose. A rich texture with notes of mocha, coffee and primary red fruit. Medium to full bodied. 91-92 points.

Yes, Scube did bring this one. This was one of my favorites of the night...thanks!!

Definitely a great blended wine in the Bordeaux style. Still youthful, but emminently drinkable now. VM's notes are great...definitely mocha. Could age for several years yet. HI=91

Thanks for the note. One consistent theme I notice in all of WWV's wines is the amazing silky texture that you briefly alluded to. I love what they do, but that texture seems to jump out at me more than anything else! Cool

Cheers!
