One of the better drinking '98 Burgundian wines I have had.

On the seductive nose, no question you are smelling a red burg, with the just right amount of earthiness. The flavor profile changed over time. I loved the strawberry, plum, and currant playing against both smoke and chalk overtones, and a lively finish.

A well crafted wine!
