2004 Pride Cab Franc
Decanted for 3+ hours much smoother than I expected. Lots of up front current, black cherry and mocha/espresso. Finish was silky with hints of oak and a slight vanilla bean flavor that lingered. (93)

2003 Switchback Petite Sirah
Decantd for 1+ hour, I perfered this to the Robert Foley Petite of the same vintage. It was not overly peppery/spicey as some Petite's have become these days. However it was a very bold wine again with hints of coffee and deep black fruits. The finish was strong, long and pretty tannic but mellowed as the night went on. (92)
