Tonight was the 1 year anniversary of my engagement so i thought i would open a decent bottle to celebrate. Sadly the 94 White Cottage was corked - badly! As i poke around in the cellar i find a 90 KJ Grand reserve. No idea where it came from (probably a gift) but i say what the heck and open it. To my great surprise there is a great nose of black fruit and no alcohol. On the palate, mature currant, cedar, dark cherry and spice followed by a nice finish. I enjoyed every drop of this mystery wine - the surprises never stop.
