Really fresh considering the age. Citrusy notes present though acidity is lower than usual. Full mouthfeel, rich texture but not as uncutous as Cloudy Bay SB 2001. No herbalness. Tasted more like a pinot gris than usual. Still, a nice wine, will last a little longer, went well with steamed clams (asari).

Should I try this with escargot?

Thanks for the notes, GMT. I don't believe I've ever had a Rochioli white wine, although I may have tasted some when I visited the winery.

davidn: I think the subdued acidity is not enough to cut through the butter if you have escargot in the "usual way".
Board-O: This SB (esp. the OLD VINES) used to be the best in California, but has lately been less special. Still, if you get a chance, please try it.
