The opaque, dark crimson wine quickly filled the air with spicy plum and earth notes. Eventually leather and grilled meat joined the melody. The flavors were intense and well-integrated: Plump, dark plums, black pepper, tar, tobacco, and wood smoke smoothly brought the wine to a long and lush finish. I really liked this wine -- my first experience with a CdP of any age. It won’t be my last. 94 points.

Make Cab, not War.

Pegau really makes good stuff. I hope I have the patience to let the younger Cuvees Reservee 'mature' ... Razz

And on the Seventh Day the wine was sour...
