NV Chapel Down- southeast England, UK.

Sparkling wine from England (aka Blighty). Composed of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Pale, straw colored in a flute. Not quite toad's eyes, but some big bubbles. Taste..... crisp and good! Yes, a surprise to myself also. Very acidic and citrusy, minimal yeast/dough flavors, and a really nice complementary floral note to it. Price unknown as it was a gift. For under $25, it would be well worth it. Maybe Edina and Patsy could use this as a cheap alternative to Bollinger. (An "Absolutely Fabulous" reference.)
