Was pleasantly surprised that this had held its fruit as long as it did. Rich black cherry, smooth texture, modest finish (which I did expect, given the age). Any tannins that were there have been subdued. Had a bit of a hot, alcohol flash when first opened but this disappeared after about 15-30 minutes.
