After some recent discussions about 'classic' and 'modern' Brunelli and 'volatile acidity' I tought it was worthwhile to pick one particular TN from my recent Montalcino visit:

Great tasting note. I had the '97 in Montalcino last November and rated it one of the best wines I've ever had.
Suckling says the volatile acidity on these wines is way too high, which I completely disagree with. I love the style of these wines and wish I could afford them more often! Quickly, bring me a beaker of wine, so that I may wet my mind and say something clever. - Aristophanes foodandwineblog.com |
