Hello,

I was given a bottle of 1994 L'ecole No. 41 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as a gift. Since it is an older vintage, I'm interested to see if anyone has tasted this wine recently. Is it an age worthy wine?

Thanks!
Leo

I had this almost exactly 2 years ago. The only note I made was "drink now." Just my opinion, but I'd strongly consider drinking it.

Sorry I have no tasting notes. You may want to give the winery a call. Do you know how well it was stored?

I opened the bottle last night. In one word - "beautiful." A very elegant wine with soft tannins. Still had wonderful fruit (blackberry) and a long finish. I don't think it could have been any better - so thanks for the advice to drink it now!!!

Way to step up to the plate and pop it open. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm a big fan of L'ecole.

Cheers.
