No not Post Script but Petillant Syrah. Could also be Pink Stuff because that's what it was. I've also been known to describe this as 'Girly Wine' which it is, even Lady K agrees on that one.

OK, so it's pink, it's made of Syrah(that's Shiraz/Shee-raz), it's French and oh yeh, it's got bubbles. Because it's Syrah it has fruit flavours but it's not exactly bursting with depth. Basically, it tastes like Vimto, which is a fruit flavoured fizzy pop drink much loved by Northern English women (the beloved Lady KillerB.) Consequently, she could happily swig this until she fell over.

I treated it like a high octane alcopop and discovered that in that light it is quite pleasant. As a wine it probably doesn't rate in the four main categories but is certainly a good party drink. At £5 per bottle it's not bad but hardly high QPR. It gets 75 KB points purely because it is alcoholic Vimto - not one for the purists.

I'm looking forward to moving so I can buy some nice wine and drink some of it!
