$17 at BevMo. I went back to snag the last of the Prum WS Spatlese and while I was checking this out some guy reached right over my shoulder and grabbed two of the remaining 3 Prums. I've never even seen anyone look at the Germans at BevMo before.
Pale straw in color, day one nothing but lemons, lemons, more lemons and a good dose of minerals on the nose, palate same. Day two the nose has become more green apple, pear, and lemons, with some lingering wet stones. Thick, juicy, and lively on the palate, decidedly tart with its eye popping acidity, but not overdone. A nice long finish rounds out a very enjoyable solid wine. 88 points for me.

S,

Thanks for the note. This is one German producer that I did not buy this year. There were just so many to choose from.
