Another TN from my father.

I rarely have two WOW's in 1 night, but with the '95 Merlot - Library Release and this I will not forget this evening anytime soon.

This is made with 100% Semillon grape. Another limited edition release from CH. This is one of the best dessert wines in the USA. I understand this retails for about $90. I know this is a bold statement but "IMHO this is an inexpensive version of Chateau d'Yquem" The predominant flavors of apricot, pear and coconut are beautifully integrated with just the right amount of acidity. This should drink well for another 5-7 years. I believe all the grapes come from a single vineyard. I would rate it 94 pts.

I noticed that WS rated this wine 92 pts, and the 1994 was rated 97 pts. Has anyone tried this particular wine or any other vintage? Thanks.

IW
