A DEWN (wine club) selection, and priced at $22, This is an interesting blend of 59% Grenache, 26% Cinsault, 14% Syrah, and 1% Viognier that promises more in the nose than it actually delivers. Enticing nose gives away the Grenache, but adds prominent floral notes as well as black cherry. However, this comes across thin and weak in the mouth, with drying tannins and watery finish.

I love Randall Grahm's wit and enthusiasm, as well as his love of the eclectic and willingness to experiment. However, if the last several DEWN shipments are any indication of future deliveries my participation is, sadly, nearing an end.
