Very Bordeaux-like in all it's personality. Somewhat restrained nose, a palate of tempered, slightly tart raspberries mixed with minerals and pencil lead. A persistent note of green stems on the finish, even on day 2. Not overly memorable and merely adequate in it's provision of enjoyemnt. B.

I don't recall ever seeing a positive review on the Artemis, why do they keep making it.

i have a six year vertical of Artemis and i am still trying to collect it as each year comes out ... i buy three or four bottles and keep the residual last one as a part of my vertical... I rather like it....

Artemis is a tough one for me, some vintages I like some are horrible. It just does not have the consistency I would expect, you never know.

I think I remember another thread discussing this wine with similar positive impressions.

I also remember being surprised.

I tried this at the Stag Leap wine store in Napa, when I was their in August. Found it enjoyable, but not outstanding. Bought a couple bottles....drinkable souvenirs !

Now if they would drop the price $5-10 bucks, it would be better. Oh and fire the pretentious staff that work there. Big Grin
