Very crisp and tart, the first glass was like biting into a Macintosh apple. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there, as the flavors were disjointed as if it fell apart upon exposure to air. Never had this happen before. Not recommended. Price was about $12.00. Comparable to Andre sparklers, but more pricey.

Do you think it was faulted in any manner. Yellowglen bubbles are normally pretty reasonable.

Jeremy: Just had the 97 vintage of the high-end Yellowglen, Cuvee Victoria, I think, and while it was not a bad sparkler, it just didn't stand out. The Taltarni Tache tasted better, but with a much coarser mousse. The mousse here was quite nice. It's just that the flavors just sort of dissipated quickly.
